About Us

we think that books, magazines, newspapers, and other periodicals are to tablets and smartphones what music is to the iPod.

The iPad, iPhone, and other such devices offer new opportunities for publishers to build media brands through greater user experiences and interactivity.

 

The liquidpubs team is at the forefront of developing for the new digital frontier, dedicated to tablet computers.

This team has been carefully assembled and includes programmers, designers and creative professionals who all share the same vision: that tablet computers are the future of periodicals, of books, and of education.

Here are the front-line people:

Ryan J. Vetter

Ryan J. Vetter Founder/Project Manager

ryan has taken the opportunity to spearhead the development of a digital print platform for tablet computers, like the iPad, and smartphones such as the iPhone, including Android based systems. He is also the author of an upcoming book titled, "An Exploration of People, Technology, and Change".

Rob Janoff

Rob Janoff Creative Director

rob got his start as a young art director in the early Silicon Valley years and worked on many high tech accounts including, most notably, a new start-up called Apple Computer. He designed the now famous Apple Computer logo and all of Apple’s introductory graphics and advertising.

Rob then worked on national print and television accounts for advertising agencies in New York and Chicago. Client brands have included IBM, Diners Club, Kleenex, Kraft, and SC Johnson.

Alexx Henry

Alexx Henry Creative Director

alexx is at the forefront of digital magazine production, as well as an expert in living photography (still images mixed with motion video and animations). Alexx’s job is to redefine how photos and video display in a digital magazine, bringing them to life. Alexx studied film and photography at Emerson College in Boston.

Chris Jackson

Chris Jackson Director, Sales & Marketing

chris shares the same vision and passion for tablet computers as the rest of the liquidpubs team. He’s also been involved in the development of the technology from the ground up.

With a Bachelor of Arts in eCommerce and Marketing, and six years of sales and marketing experience as a manager in new media for online businesses, Chris heads up liquidpubs sales and marketing.
